Structure
Ownership
Many
Program Homes are owned or leased by Storey Homes, others are owned
by private individuals providing care within the Storey system. The total
service is operated by Storey Homes, which is incorporated as a for-profit
corporation. All private organizations licensed through the Ministry of Community,
Family & Children's Services may or may not be incorporated by an ownership
group but all private for-profit must operate on a 90% occupancy rate budget,
in compliance with Ministry licensing requirements.
Management
The
Executive Director, Mr. Hugh McClure, is responsible for the financial health
of the overall program. The Executive Director is an officer of the corporation
and is directly accountable to the Ministry of Community, Family & Children's
Services regarding service application and delivery. The Administrative Management
of Storey Homes meets regularly Management team meetings occur regularly within
each region.
Administrative
Review Committee
The
Administrative Review Committee is a Management Group consisting of Agency Administrative
Personnel. It’s primary function is that of reviewing Agency policy and delivery
of service in respect to “best practices” process. Representation consists of
Directors and Supervisors and invited consultants, reflecting the spectrum of
services provided by Storey Homes. Accounts Manager and legal support services
will similarly participate as the need arises.
Management
Team
The
Management Team is an Administrative forum of Storey Homes made up of managerial
personnel representing all sectors within the Agency, meeting on a regular basis
to monitor and evaluate program service and delivery. The management group is
mandated to oversee the day-to-day functioning and to make recommendations concerning
Storey Homes policy & procedures. Our primary purpose is to ensure the quality
of service for our clients in addressing and meeting their individual needs; creating
and maintaining a safe and stimulating environment for our staff.
The
Management Team may include:

Life skills worker
The
review committee will meet on a quarterly basis addressing documents, Storey Homes
Operations, Medical, Licensing, and Personnel development, as well as determining
future direction and planning. The Administrative Committee’s focus is that of
enhancing the services provided for our children and developing support and training
to agency staff within a positive environment.
